Custom Training

Helix realizes that the training you need for your staff may not be covered most effectively using “canned” training. Therefore we offer customized training courses to meet your needs. Using our experienced trainers and our controls engineers, we will tailor a course to meet your needs. Examples of recently tailored training session include:

On site, in plant, real time controls training: Using one of our controls engineers familiar with our customers specific site, the controls engineer imbedded himself one or two days per week for 6 weeks to work with the maintenance staff. Working side by side with one member of the maintenance team at a time, the Helix controls engineer spent the first session evaluating each member and then working with the area manager to determine course objectives. Areas covered including use of tables, setting up Devicenet networks, installing a new PLC etc.

Generic AB Training using Customer Program as Class Example: Each OEM has a different method of programming. By tailoring our class to use the OEMs or customers specific program, we can make your staff comfortable attaching to and troubleshooting the system you have.
